This past Sunday we had the privilege to play for a special event reception at The Museum Of Flight in The Red Barn for the Boeing family. It was a lovely event that honored Bill Boeing, Jr. I was informed that Mr. Boeing likes Cole Porter. We made sure to play songs from that iconic composer.
I had the pleasure to play with some of my favorite guys are their instruments. Brian Kent on tenor saxophone and John Hansen on keyboard. For me it's a privilege to play with these guys. They are so accomplished and dedicated to their craft.
Here's a Cole Porter tune from the Great American Songbook called What Is This Thing Called Love.

The Seattle Museum Of Flight is a great place to hold an event. It was a pleasure to work with Alison Bailey of the museum who was our client contact. The museum's in-house caterers McCormick & Schmick's are top notch. I owe this gig to my friend at McCormick & Schmick's Andrea Sligar who has referred us time and time again to play events at this terrific venue. Thank you, Andrea and Alison!
